Tavistock’s industrial heritage

Join Simon Dell on a stroll looking at significant aspects of the industrial heritage of our town, from the mills and leats, to the iron foundries which made much of the heavy industrial equipment used for the copper mines, not only in Tavistock parish but also in Cornwall and throughout the world. This surviving heritage was a major contributor to the granting of World Heritage Site status to Tavistock, Devon's only World Heritage town.

The walk commences at 2pm from outside the Tavistock Visitor Information Centre in Guildhall Square and lasts for 90 minutes.

Tickets are £5 per person
