The communities of Tavistock changed over the centuries and churches and chapels were built to support them. Along with those communities some have disappeared while others remain constant in the streetscape. The walk traces the history of the religious buildings, their architecture and the people they supported. 

The walk commences at 2.00 pm from outside the Tavistock Visitor Information Centre in Guildhall Square and lasts for 90 minutes. It's predominantly flat, and covers approximately a mile within Tavistock town centre.
