Tavistock Heritage Trust has received two generous grants to help us in our mission of bringing Tavistock’s heritage to life. The Lions Club of Tavistock has kindly donated £500 for collection boxes and banners, while the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Heritage World Heritage Site have contributed £1,800 towards the expense of establishing the Trust.
Sue Spackman, chairman of the Trust’s shadow board said, “The Trustees are delighted to have the support of the Lions of Tavistock and the World Heritage Site as the aims of the trust are to promote the heritage of the Town and surrounding area, and this will in turn support our local communities.”
